Saturday, September 18, 2010: Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley is hosting their 6th Annual Let It Go! Recovery Rally at Kirby Park from 10:00am - 12:00pm

The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley (ADACCV) will host its 6th Annual "Let It Go!" on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Kirby Park.  ADACCV will release hundreds of colorful balloons that represent persons "letting go" of their addiction and abuse to drugs and alcohol.   "Let It Go!" will feature several speakers that will share their story of recovery from addiction and how drug and alcohol addiction and abuse affected their family.  We are inviting San Angelo and the Concho Valley to join us in our fight against addiction and alcoholism and to help us celebrate recovery as we release our balloons and symbolically release the Concho Valley from addiction, alcoholism and abuse.

This event also helps ADACCV raise much-needed funds to operate our treatment and prevention programs.  Any individual can sponsor a balloon with a monetary donation in an amount of their choice.  Individuals who sponsor a balloon can have a special message written on the balloon to commemorate a loved one or themselves.

ADACCV is a 501c3 non-profit organization and a United Way of the Concho Valley member agency.  We are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services to provide substance abuse treatment and prevention services in the Concho Valley.
